Our stay was primarily focused on the Wilderness Train journey and exploring the local area. We found our room above the shops to be cozy with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water, perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. We appreciated being within walking distance to various cafes and the boat tours across the road. It was a nice touch to have good WiFi to plan our next adventure.

missingWrote a review on Nov 10quality toiletriesspacious roomfurniture issues
The bathroom includes a detachable shower head and quality toiletries like body wash and lotion, which were appreciated after a long day. The size of the room was quite impressive, giving ample space to move around comfortably.
The overall quality didn't match the size of the room, leaving a lot to be desired. The couch was unusable, practically collapsed under weight, and additional issues included a rattling air conditioner that disrupted sleep and a mini-bar with outdated juice. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, only connecting intermittently, and the dining options were underwhelming, with limited choices for vegetarians at a high price.

The Hilltop Standard Room offered spectacular views of the water, making my mornings truly memorable. Staff were accommodating and responsive to my needs. The room itself was comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere, which I really appreciated. the dining experience at the on-site restaurant left much to be desired. The food was overpriced and didn’t match the expectations set by the stunning location. Breakfast options varied greatly, and I encountered some dishes that were simply underwhelming. There were also inconsistencies with the room servicing, which could be improved for a better guest experience. Parking wasn’t directly next to the rooms, which might be inconvenient for some.

We did run into a maintenance issue with the room needing attention during our stay.
